Canapé bread

Baked apple skyr

3 apples, core removed and peeled

30 g butter

2 tbsp light brown sugar

1/3 tsp cinnamon




  1. Peel and remove the core of the apples. Cut the apples into slices.
  2. Fry the apples in butter and brown sugar for 5–10 minutes or until the apples are soft all the way through.
  3. Cut the canapé bread into slices, spread the skyr on each slice and add a good amount of the apples to each slice of bread. Pour the rest of the caramel over the slices of bread and garnish with blackberries.
